Description
Acera daGama is an advanced double-braided rope designed with a core made of 12-strand High Modulus PolyEthylene (HMPE) fiber and a 24-/32-strand braided cover. The braided cover provides additional protection against abrasion and UV radiation, extending the rope’s lifespan and performance. The cover is typically also made of HMPE but can alternatively be made of polyester multifilament to make it sink in water.
Features:
- Low stretch: Acera daGama has very low stretch, reacting immediately to tension and providing precise control.
- High breaking strength: The rope is extremely strong with a high breaking strength. It is engineered to withstand high loads and stresses, making it a reliable choice for demanding tasks.
- Extremely durable: Acera daGama is exceptionally durable with high abrasion resistance, making it perfect for the toughest conditions.
Applications:
- Mooring and towing: Acera daGama is commonly used as a mooring line for heavier maritime applications and also as a towing line.
- Industrial pulling lines: Its high strength and low stretch make Acera daGama suitable for industrial pulling applications where significant stresses are involved. Heavy-duty winch lines for cable pulling are an example.
Advantages: Acera daGama is a high-performance rope offering superior strength and minimal stretch. Its applications range from maritime to industrial uses, making it a dependable choice for the most demanding applications in industry and maritime sectors.
