Description

Our twisted polypropylene binding twine offers a reliable solution for various purposes such as packaging twine, lashing twine and binding twine for a wide range of applications. The twine is manufactured with a twisted structure that enhances its durability and abrasion resistance.

Material and properties: The binding twines are made from twisted, thin monofilament fibers of polypropylene (PP split film). These twines have medium resistance to UV radiation. The thin fibers make these binding twines relatively soft compared to ropes made from PP split film. The twines float and have an elongation at break of approximately 25%.

Applications: Polypropylene binding twines are used in various industries for a multitude of purposes. Some examples include:

  • Packaging twine: These twines are widely used in both the industrial and construction sectors for bundling and/or packaging materials. They are lightweight, inexpensive and easy to knot, making them convenient for most situations where something needs to be secured, tied or packaged.
  • Lashing: In agriculture, it is very common to use polypropylene binding twines to lash hay bales or secure loads.

Advantages: PP-soft binding twines made from polypropylene are an excellent choice for industries that require simple and inexpensive twines.
